Last December, I tried something new. I created and shared a New Year’s BINGO Card — a trend that makes it more fun to set and achieve goals. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect, but I decided to fill one out for myself… and it’s been a game changer!

There’s something about the playful, game-like format that kept me engaged and motivated throughout 2025. I checked off goals, celebrated small wins, and actually followed through. (I also really enjoyed coming up with little drawings for each of my goals, but that’s just a “me thing.” You certainly don’t need to do that! Just write one goal in each square.) Instead of setting one or two massive, overwhelming resolutions, you set lots of smaller, achievable goals across different areas of your life. When you complete five in a row? You reward yourself! It’s specific, measurable, and surprisingly fun.
Research shows that almost half of people abandon their New Year’s resolutions by the end of January. But gamifying your goals and building in rewards can help you stick with them.
I’ve created an updated 2026 BINGO Card just for you, complete with instructions to help you customize it for your own goals.
