In a previous post, I shared a New Year’s trend that really caught my attention. Instead of making a New Year’s resolution, make a BINGO card!
A BINGO card makes it more fun to set and achieve goals. Plus, you can set lots of small goals (rather than one or two huge — and maybe overwhelming — ones), and you can reward yourself when you achieve five in a row. This article tells you more about the New Year’s BINGO card trend.
Now, for some accountability time. Here’s my BINGO card!

As you can see, I’ve written and drawn each of the goals, with an “L” in the center as my “free space.” You certainly don’t have to draw! You can just write a different item in each square. Creativity is my jam, and some of my goals have to do with creativity, so I chose to do it this way.
In addition to creativity, I’ve set goals related to business, family, personal growth, health, and giving back.
I think that when I achieve a goal — one of the items in the square — I’m going to color in the square. I still need to decide what I’ll do when I achieve BINGO, by filling in five squares in a row. It’ll be some sort of special treat!
I’ve tried to quantify as many of these items as possible, and I’ve also tried to avoid phrasing them in such a way that I would have to wait until the end of 2025 to achieve them. For example, rather than writing “meditate every day” (which is a huge goal in and of itself, and something I couldn’t really complete for 365 days), I wrote “meditate every day for 30 days.” I would like to visit my Dad at least every other month, so I set a goal of 6 visits to the town where he lives. “Donate clothes” is something I can easily complete by doing it once. Every goal here isn’t huge. They don’t involve massive transformation. These are things that will keep me aligned with who I am and what I love about my life.
If you are willing to share, I’d love to see your BINGO card! Let’s keep one another accountable!
